The Natal & Zululand Study Circle was established on 21st October
1996 at a meeting on the premises of the
In January 2006 a referendum of members decided that in future the society
should be known as the Cape & Natal Study Circle and this is now the
case. The objects of the society have been extended to cover the Cape of Good
Hope, Griqualand West, British Kaffraria and the Transkeian territories in
addition to
